IT GROWS AND THRIVES

Here you see two photographs from Gullaskruv’s estate in Orrefors. The picture on the left was taken in 1908 by Hedda Ekman. The picture on the right shows the same box in 2020, photographed during the summer inventories.  This is a good illustration of how long the ash can grow and flourish, as long as it has the right conditions (thanks to Jan and Ingela Bretz for the picture and tips).
